Wolverines return the favor against BGSU, 1-0
The short, short version…
One night after being blanked by Bowling Green, Chad Langlais scored in the second period assisted by Danny Fardig to give Michigan a 1-0 shutout at Bowling Green tonight.
The Wolverines certainly had to work for a goal this weekend as they threw another 39 shots on goal. Carl Hagelin had a goal waived off late in the game.
Billy Sauer got his first start since the loss at Wisconsin during the College Hockey Showcase and turned aside 19 shots. The offense once again didn’t provide much, but good for him to get the victory and the shutout. After all he has been through this season, it’s well deserved. I guess the question now is are we back to a two goalie rotation or is Hogan still the starter?
