Per his Twitter feed, 2013 forward commit Bryson Cianfrone is leaving the Ontario Junior Hockey League and will be playing for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL.

NHL Central Scouting listed him as a ‘C’ Skater in their preliminary players to watch list released today.  Cianfrone posted 10-18-28 in 43 games with Oakville and Toronto of the OJHL last season.  The 17-year-old was considered a first round OHL draft pick a few years ago but went later in the draft after he opted for the college route.

2013 defensive commit Michael Downing left tonight’s game against Tri-City after taking a hit 15 seconds in to the second period.

Per Dubuque’s Twitter feed, Downing did not return to the game, and there’s been no update on his status.
