DetNews: The Cold War II coming to The Big House

The Detroit News is reporting that a deal between Michigan and Michigan State was recently finalized and the two in-state rivals will meet outdoors at Michigan Stadium on December 11 at 3 p.m.

The first outdoor game between the two schools, dubbed “The Cold War,” took place before a world record crowd of 74,544 fans at Spartan Stadium on October 6, 2001, and ended in a 3-3 tie.
