Game 2: Wolverines advance with 6-0 shutout
By Jason Paul | March 7, 2010
I’m out of town, but quick update…
The Michigan hockey team closed out the first round of the CCHA in impressive fashion, blanking Lake Superior State, 6-0. Louie Caporusso netted a hat trick, while Carl Hagelin added a pair of goals.
With Ohio State and Nebraska-Omaha advancing to the second round tonight, too, and Alaska most likely going to defeat Western Michigan, that sets up a second round showdown with Michigan State in East Lansing next weekend.
